We invite all pilots to a special weekend at the beautiful Château de Bournizeaux in the French countryside. The château has its own private runway, a pool, and calm surroundings – perfect for relaxing after your flight.

✈️ A Unique AOPA Weekend: Discover the Elegance of Flying to Château de Bournizeaux (some 300 NM from Luxembourg)

1. Introduction
From Friday to Sunday, June 27–29, AOPA Luxembourg invites you to an unforgettable flying weekend in the beautiful French countryside. We have reserved the entire Château de Bournizeaux and farmhouse – a charming and elegant estate located just south of the Loire Valley – exclusively for our members. This event combines the joy of flying with the comfort of a luxury stay. Whether you’re a frequent flyer or looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow pilots in a peaceful and inspiring setting.
2. The Destination
Nestled in the heart of picturesque surroundings south of the Loire, Château de Bournizeaux offers an unparalleled experience for pilots. The château boasts a private landing strip, making it an ideal destination for those who appreciate the unique blend of flying and fine living. Access to the airstrip is granted exclusively to guests staying at the château, ensuring a serene and exclusive environment.

Set in a quiet rural area, the château features:
– Optional snacks, lunches, BBQ, or cheese platters (on request)

– A large pool with sunbeds and a well-stocked pool house

3. A New AOPA Tradition
This special gathering is likely the start of a new AOPA tradition, offering members a refined and immersive aviation experience in a unique setting.

- Chambre Alberto Santos Dumont (30 m², 1 double bed)
- Chambre Antoine de St’Exupéry (30 m², 1 double bed)
- Chambre Roland Garros (30 m², 2 single beds)
- All château rooms: €160 for 1 night / €145 per night for 2+ nights
- All have private bathrooms, bathrobes, coffee/tea, and hairdryers

- Gîte 2 – Room 1: 1 double bed, private bathroom
- Gîte 2 – Room 2: 1 double bed, private bathroom

- Your full name, birthdate, number of passport
- Type of license and pilot license number
- Your email address and mobile phone number
- Departure airport/airfield
