AOPA Luxembourg invites members and friends to come together for this year’s Luxembourg Aviation Week. As a member of the Fédération Aéronautique Luxembourgeoise (FAL), itself affiliated with the World Air Sports Federation (FAI), we have prepared a day that blends aviation history, fellowship and safety awareness.

Afternoon: 385th Bomb Group Memorial Museum, Perlé
🕒 from 15:00
📍 6 Rue de l’Église, L-8826 Perlé
We will visit the 385th Bomb Group Memorial Museum, which commemorates the tragic mid-air collision of two B-17 US bombers on 12th July 1944 over Perlé. The crash claimed the lives of 18 crew members and remains a significant chapter of Luxembourg’s wartime history.
The museum preserves this memory with unique exhibits and an impressive memorial honouring the fallen.
Open event: AOPA Luxembourg will offer a drink to members and friends visiting the museum.
