We’d like to thank you for your interest in joining the AOPA Luxembourg charter flight to the AERO 2022 event in Friedrichshafen. Over thirty persons expressed their interest to join the charter flight. This number was unfortunately not sufficient to meet the expected price per person (€299 for members / €349 for non members). Chartering a smaller airplane as an alternative was not an option cost-wise; fuel prices hikes that happened during early March was the most troublesome factor. Therefore, we decided not to proceed with the organization this year.
Nonetheless, this was our first attempt at organizing such an event, and your feedback was extremely valuable to us. We’ll be able to weigh our options more accurately the next time and come up with more viable plan.
Hopefully, there will be fewer uncertainties as well in 2023.
