Airfield Finds!

EDKM Meschede Schüren

Spend a day in scenic Sauerland in Western Germany. Meschede Schüren is a well maintained airfield serving the local aeroclub and occasional business flights. The lighted runway is 900x30 meters. The flight is about 90 minutes from Luxembourg. Do not look for a traffic circuit but avoid overflying villages and camping sites. You will be received by friendly people who can also call you a taxi. You may give a call ahead. On site is the Wolkenstürmer bistro, recently re-opened. Nearby is the beautiful Henne Lake. Have a swim or a walk weather permitting. On the lake is a 4 star hotel. Happy landing!
