We took July off - as we hope many of you did as well! We hope that you have taken advantage of the wide array of events going on in the area so far this summer - please read on for upcoming events.

Who is Who on the Board?

There are now 9 elected board members and 4 co-opted members - the biggest board yet! But how well do you know the various players? Every issue will highlight one member.

Register for Annecy Mountain Flying 08.-10.09.2023!

The traditional fly out to Annecy will take place from 8th to 10th of September.
Please register for your participation as soon as possible to the following email address:

Those who participate for the first time, could discover the mountain and mountain flights, extend flying skills, just enjoy flying and meet with other pilots.
For regular participants it would be not only the usual pleasure flying and admire mountain beauty but also some surprises to make your stay more unforgettable.

Air Days 2023 ELNT

To bring aviation to the public, on 15. and 17. July 2023 Luxembourg aviation associations invited to the Luxembourg Airdays, which took place at Noertrange Airfield. Weather was far from perfect. Wind and rain kept planes and visitors from coming on Saturday.

Sunday we caught up with visitors and flying. Many airplanes (also many ultralights) flew in. A Luxembourg Air Rescue helicopter and a helicopter from Heli Luxembourg showed up, as well. Aerobatics and Parachuting was on display. Food and drinks as well as many stands from our aviation organisations found the interest of many visitors. Of course, AOPA was there to inform on GA issues and for drinks and merchandise.

Big thanks to all our aviation friends who made this event happen!

***Fly in Uruguay:

on 22.08.2023 Fly Uruguay present the country of Uruguay and its flying possibilities in a zoom meeting. It is about the airfields available, controlled, uncontrolled or private runways. They will show aerial photos of the different landscapes and photos of sights so that you can get a first impression of the conditions. Everything about the aircraft, prices, flight season and other modalities will be discussed.
